I have a science blog for my students and their families. It is my attempt to bring the classroom into the home. One feature of the blog is the “Bird of the Week”. Here, I publish information and photos of a particular, local bird each week. We discuss these birds during the week and I have them be on the lookout for them around the school yard, in their neighborhood, and on field trips.
